STACKED WITH FUN AND HAPPY HUES

HELLO EVERYONE
TODAY I have a TAG to show you as one of my GUEST DESIGNER projects for

Creating tags are one of my very fave things to do in my world of ART .
here I used the beautiful MME buttons and papers from THE SWEETEST THING Collection.

Tags are great to add to a gift and also in place of a card ...
There is always plenty of room to write on the back

I covered the base of the tag in MME paper and white card which is stamped with Versa color ink .
then I stacked layer upon layer of colorful hues and finished off with a MME button .
a nice and easy project .
I had such fun with these goodies thanks so much Olga

to see the beautiful papers and embellies available .

I have used lots of Dies from the Nestabilities and Die-namics range ...
These are such happy colors and full of fun and brightness.
I hope you are inspired to use your scraps up and create your own tag .
I'll be giving this tag to my Grand daughter Ella Jai, yellow and pink are her very fave colors .

Have fun creating your very own design, use your dies and scraps to create your masterpiece !!
thanks for taking the time to leave me some love here on my blog.
till next time, stay safe and warm hugz , love Heather x

WHITE WASHED WITH GESSO

here is one of my DESIGN TEAM projects for this month for

'WHITE WASHED TISSUE BOX'

Tissues boxes are so easy to cover and add such style to any room in your home especially your  bathroom or kitchen .
I used the delightful and enchanting Spring Paisley collection .
Cover the entire box and then whitewash with light coat of Gesso …
Allow to dry then I added a Memory Box, leaf die cut, using the same Spring Paisley paper collection.
Next I cut some chipboard with the leaf diecut ,
and inked it with versa color ink, Bamboo .…
I positioned the cluster on one corner,
drooping it over the side  to add interest.
Layering …
Glue the paper leaves directly onto the box,
then layer the chipboard leaves over the top as a second  layer…
Lastly I added another coat of gesso to finish it off.

this tissue box sits happily in our bathroom
I am so pleased with the white-washed effect .
Materials from Meg’s Garden …
SPRING PAISLEY PAPER COLLECTION.

Other items
Gesso
Memory box diecut

I encourage you to have a go at covering your own tissue box to add to your home décor,
it is easy and fun .

these are the Spring Paisley collection .

THIS IS WHAT Yvonne Yam creator of LESSology  had to say .
We were lucky to have had so many talented guest designers inspire us with their awesome projects in LESSology's first year. And some of them were generous enough to share their inspiration with us once again. Please join us in welcoming Heather Jacob, Sandi Taloumis, Lalo Ik and Mitra Pratt as they share their gift-wrapping ideas for

Here is my creation for IT'S A WRAP

Creating tags is a fave of mine and I love the idea of creating with recycled items so I decided to create an embellished tag to go with the gift.
It can be recycled as well...ready to hang in a scraproom or study.

1. Cover the chipboard with sheet music, gather the lace, using double-sided  tape.
        2. Place this at the bottom of the tag.
        3. Border punch the strip of Tim Holtz paper and overlap above the lace.
        4. Add the German scrapware.
        5. Ink the flourish heart and glue to tag.
        6. Cover the heart with old text paper from a book, ink and stamp.
        7. Add the GREEN TARA flowers and lastly tie the ribbon through the holes ready to hang.
Supplies:
Recycled sheet music, lace from doiley, text paper from an old book,
German scrapware, Green Tara large white roses (FDR024 Wh) and small brown roses (FDR003 Br),
Coutre creations treasures (Adealyncollection C073092),
Imaginarium Designs chipboard tag, Dusty Attic chipboard (Flourish Heart),
Prima stamp(Trellis), Ranger distress ink (rusty hinge),
